We all know how expensive weddings can be, and even though we all want the best of the best, it’s sometimes easier to do certain things yourself—especially if you are on a budget. Being the beauty addict (and hoarder) that I am, I wanted to show people that you CAN do your own makeup for your wedding.
All you need are the right makeup products, a smile, and lots of confidence. I recreated this Indian bridal makeup look incorporating traditional Indian wedding colors of red and gold. I wore a sari for a little inspiration as well.
Everything I used on my face is from the drugstore except for my brows which is Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in the color Ebony.
I have yet to find a dupe for this amazing brow pencil. If you all have any suggestions, help a girl out! The key to making sure your makeup stays on all day is layering. I know that may be a little scary for some people, but blending is your best friend! Blend, blend, BLEND! Blend everything out until you can’t, and you won’t have a cake face. I promise!
Another important tip to consider while doing your makeup for your wedding is to avoid SPF in any of your products. This will help you not have a white cast during flash photography (which there will be a lot of)! Below are the products I used all the way from priming my face to contouring and lashes.Good luck and have confidence in yourself, ladies!
Love Always,
