Question: What do people wear in London?

Answer: First off…you’re going to London! How exciting. Whether it’s your first visit to the foggy city, or you’re returning—London is always a fun and fashionable place to be. Being stylish in London is super simple and so much fun. Okay, let’s get started:

When packing for your trip, there are a few key things you’ll want to keep in mind; the first being the layering trend. Layering in London comes in many variations. Whether it’s a casual look layering sweaters and jeans to a fashion forward tutu and jacket look, layering is an easy and functional way to go. When picking your pieces think in terms of color. Pick out a color scheme you love and layer pieces within that scheme. For example: Black and white with a touch of blue.

Now let’s dress things up a bit. Being in such a chic city, a midi skirt is the perfect way to show off your style. Take this opportunity to throw in your favorite color. Wear a bright skirt with a neutral crop top. Add a chic neutral  blazer or cardigan if the weather permits. This look does require wearing heels. Sorry ladies, midi skirts just look best with a heel. This look is perfect for dinner or brunch.

This last look is my personal favorite. This is the perfect opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and try new things. What do I mean by this? Fur, of course! Fur can be done in so many fun ways. From a scarf to a vest, even to a whole shirt—fur is the way to make a statement. Don’t be afraid to really amp up your style. The great thing about fur is that it can be totally casual or very elegant. Think muted colors when picking the perfect piece. Grays, blues, and whites are great to pair with just about anything. You can choose what best suits you and run with it!

This is your chance to shine. Have fun exploring and looking amazing doing so. Here are a few pieces to get you started.
