When there’s no time to change between your morning yoga session and work, it can be difficult to make the transition from gym attire to everyday attire without looking like—well, a  hot mess. Here are some tips to keep you looking fresh:

The first thing to do is bring deodorant, dry shampoo and a body mist to polish up your look after your workout. Tie your hair back in a braid after you’ve put some dry shampoo in it. Why? Because you can never go wrong with a casual braid. As far as makeup goes, keep things minimal and use a gentle wipe après-workout such as the Say Yes to Cucumbers Face Wipe. A little tinted moisturizer, concealer, mascara and lip-gloss are all you need to be ready after a workout. Don’t worry about blush or bronzer; you’ve already got that Vinyasa glow going on.

Wear a nice pair of sleek yoga pants. This is one wardrobe item that is definitely worth spending more money on. Lululemon have tons of options that look sophisticated in and out of the gym.

Over your yoga pants, choose a breathable workout top with a nice pattern that can double as an everyday tank top. If you’re going straight to work or class, this will keep you looking polished and professional.

Finally, an oversized long cardigan will pull the look together and keep you looking stylish even if you’ve just been kickboxing. These are breathable, casual, and pulled-together; the trifecta when you’ve just left the gym and don’t want to put on something constricting.

Once you’ve traded out your sneakers for a cute pair of black boots, you’re ready to take on the world!
