brown eyes beauty routine

When winter comes around, it becomes necessary to create a new beauty routine. Today I’ll be addressing a winter beauty routine for brown eyes and pale skin!

I’ve got a combination very similar to this: the only difference is my eyes are hazel, but I’ve definitely got pale covered. I’m going to share my favorite looks and tips for a winter beauty routine for this combination. Enjoy!

Look 1: Bronze Eyes, Nude Lips

I love this look because it incorporates the metallic trend. My favorite way to begin this look is by using one of my favorite products, Maybelline’s Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze. It’s gorgeous applied with a dense, stiff brush, or just with your fingers. I like to use this as a base for my bronze eyes. Following the base, I’ll use any bronze shade on top. I really like the combination of Light Bronze and Pewter from the LORAC PRO Palette. I’ll apply Light Bronze on my lid and Pewter in my crease to create a gorgeous bronze-taupe look. Another great palette to look at for bronze tones is the Naked 1 palette. It contains beautiful bronze colors that apply with great pigmentation and apply true to color.

For the lips, pick your favorite nude and apply it as you usually would. I’m a huge fan of Wet N’ Wild Megalast Lipstick in Bare it All. This color is a gorgeous neutral nude color. It looks great on all skin tones, which is awesome! Rock this look for any time you’re wanting to look neutral, particularly to compliment any bright colors you’ll be wearing for the season!

Look 2: Bare Eyes, Berry Lips

This look is one of my favorites for this winter! Berry lips are super on-trend, and I’m currently obsessed with a beautiful plum combination (check out more details in this post). This combination uses Sephora’s Lip Liner in Pleasant Plum and Sephora Collection Lipstick in Crush. It’s a great combination that results in a beautiful, deep plum lip. Because the lips are the focus of this look, I like to keep the eyes bare or very natural and light. For this look, I’ll use another Maybelline Color Tattoo in the color Barely Branded. This is a gorgeous, metallic finish eyeshadow that look beautiful on the lid. Try it out with some bold lips!

Look 3: Winged Liner, Red Lips

I love this look because it’s super classic and looks fantastic on everyone! This look works especially well for those with pale skin because the red really adds some color back to the face. Throw in a little winged liner, and you’re good to go! Perfect the winged liner look by starting with a light outline of the wing with liquid liner. Fill it in more heavily to complete the look. To create even wings, simply follow the curve of your eye up and out. Using the curve of your lower lash line as a guide will result in more even wings.

For the lips, be sure to use lip liner! This will not only make filling in the lips a lot easier, but it will also make your color last. This way, even if the lipstick comes off, you still have the lip liner underneath. Lip liners tend to stay on a lot longer, so it helps to use some underneath! I’ve been loving Sephora’s lip liners, and they’re only $5. Check them out!

I hope these looks helped you put together an idea for what to wear this season! Try out some of these looks, or come up with your own! What is your favorite look to rock this winter?
