Question: How do I achieve a peach eyeshadow look?

Peach eyeshadow is super on-trend right now. It can be scary to start leaning into the world of orange, but it’s actually surprisingly easy to do. Peach eyeshadow flatters all eye colors and is perfect for summer days. How does one achieve the pretty peachy look? Read on to discover how simple this look really is.

1. The Lid Color

When it comes to peach, I like my lid color to be shimmery. It’s up to you whether or not you’d like your lid to be shimmery as well, but for summer days when I’m going peach, I like a little shimmer. My favorite peachy shade is “Naked” from the elf Studio Prism Eyeshadow palette.

This palette has beautiful, soft shadows in gorgeous shimmery colors. I like using the third color as my lid color when I’m doing a peach look. Simply use a flat brush to apply this color all over the lid. How easy is that?!

2. The Crease Color

The color that I use in my crease when I’m doing a peach eyeshadow look is one of my favorite shadows of all time. It’s from Makeup Geek, and it’s called Peach Smoothie.

It’s the perfect peach color for the crease. It’s not too dark, but it’s not too light; it’s not too orange but it’s not too brown. It’s just a fantastic peach color that works incredibly well in the crease. Use a fluffy crease brush to blend this into the crease using windshield wiper motions, focusing equally on the inner and outer corner to create a rounded, smoky look.

3. The Definition Color

In my opinion, all eyeshadow looks need a defining color. This color could be a darker peach, it could be a brown, or really anything you want. I tend to reach for Makeup Geek Cosmopolitan.

This color is a beauty orange-toned brown that has a little bit of shimmer in it. I like to take a dense rounded brush and pack this color into the outer corner of my eye and blend it into my crease slightly. It’s a beautiful color that complements this peach look perfectly.

4. The Highlight Color

When it comes to highlighting, I always reach back for my elf Prism Eyeshadow. The white color in this palette is the perfect highlighting color. I actually like it better than other high-end highlighters, as it’s got a super pretty glow to it and it really makes those eyes pop. Use a small eyeshadow brush to apply this color to the inner corners of the eyes and under the brows to create a lifted look.

Doing a peach eyeshadow look is incredibly easy and looks great on everyone. Give these tips a try and you’ll be on your way to achieving a summer peach glow!
