I love eyeshadow. Recently, I’ve been on an eyeshadow buying spree, which is dangerous, but fun! I love looking for new shadows that provide awesome pigmentation and go on like butter. Here are seven of my top eyeshadow picks, including palettes and single shadows alike. Check these eyeshadows out! You won’t regret it.

1. Makeup Geek Eyeshadows

These are some of my favorite single eyeshadows on the market. Many of the colors are dupes of MAC shadows, and these stand at only $6! The pigmentation is amazing and the color selection is fantastic. There are neutrals and fun colors to choose from, and application is a breeze. They go on as smooth as velvet, and stay on without creasing. They blend easily too, which is an added bonus! Check these shadows out at and stock up on your favorite colors!

2. Lorac Pro Palette 1

This palette is my favorite. There are a variety of matte and shimmer colors to help you create a variety of looks. It features plenty of neutrals with a few colors mixed in. The color payoff rocks, and the shadows are smooth and creamy. If you’re looking for a versatile palette, this is the one for you!

3. Maybelline The Nudes Palette

This has quickly become one of my favorites! I bought this palette at Target a few days ago and I can’t put it down! The colors are all neutrals, including mostly browns and a couple grays. The palette contains quality shadows that are easy to apply. If you’re looking for a good neutral palette, check this one out. You can get this guy at drugstores for $10.

4. Urban Decay Naked Palettes

These palettes have gotten plenty of attention in the makeup world, and rightfully so. I own the first two palettes, and I love both of them. Both contain relatively neutral colors with a few vibrant shades like deep purple and gunmetal mixed in. The third palette has a variety of pink shadows, which are perfectly on trend. Urban Decay is known for fantastic pigmentation, and these palettes are no exception. If you’re looking for a quality palette that will give you a ton of options, check these out! You can find them at Sephora for $54.

5. NYX Baked Eyeshadows

My favorite color from this collection of shadows is Moonshine, a fantastic warm white that is perfect for highlighting. These guys have amazing pigmentation, and there is a lot of product in the package for the price. These shadows give you bang for your buck and come in a variety of colors, from gold to bright blue. They’re also incredibly easy to blend, which I love. Check them out at ULTA for $6.

6. L’Oreal Infallible

These single shadows have gotten an incredible amount of attention in the drugstore makeup world for their reputation as dupes for Giorgio Armani’s Eyes to Kill. They’re basically pressed pigments that truly pack a punch of color! These guys come in loads of shades including the most popular choice, Amber Rush, which is a pretty rose gold that looks great on all eye colors.

7. e.l.f. Prism Palette

Finally, we have the e.l.f. Prism Palettes. These palettes contain six buttery shadows that have some serious color payoff. This pick is great if you like shimmery shadows. These shadows seriously go on like a cream shadow. Plus, there are loads of color palettes to choose from. My favorite is Naked, a collection of sparkly neutrals that has a pretty white highlighting color. You can buy these from for $10!
